Meet Jim Landtroop, husband to our Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, Cathy Landtroop, and proud owner of Huco Products and The Cleaning House. A passionate entrepreneur, Jim opened his State Farm Agency in Plainview, Texas, in 1999, and the Landtroops have been banking with Vista ever since!

Jim’s journey began with a simple but impactful piece of advice from his father: “You’ll never get rich working for somebody else.” While it’s never been about creating monetary wealth, the freedom and satisfaction from owning your own business has provided for his family and afforded him the time to coach his kids’ basketball teams and serve his fellow West Texans as their State Representative in the 82nd legislature.

The Cleaning House has been a Lubbock staple for years, but Jim purchased the janitorial supply company in 2019 with two divisions: a retail side, offering professional-grade cleaning products to the public, and a wholesale side serving industrial plants, schools, and government complexes.
